Barnett Ross was formed in October 2002, drawing upon the combined 60 year's auction experience of John Barnett and Jonathan Ross, and immediately established itself as the largest independent auction house in the U.K.

Barnett Ross is a nationwide auction house. Since opening in 2002 the company has sold over £1 billion of property with an average success rate of 88%

Clients have included The London Borough of Islington, the London Borough of Barnet, The William Pears Group of Companies, Helical Bar, Thresher Group, BAE Systems Pension Fund, Jewish Care, The Ackerman Group of Companies and a host of public and private property companies together with various private individuals.

Amongst the notable successes has been the sale of Panther House, 38 Mount Pleasant and 156/164 Gray's Inn Road which at £8,810,000 remains the largest freehold sold in a U.K. auction room.
